As modern vehicles become increasingly electronic, the DCU (Domain Control Unit) has emerged as one of the core components of a vehicle’s electronic control system. The DCU is responsible for integrating multiple functional modules, making its stability and safety crucial. To ensure stable DCU operation, protective components and power components play a key role. Protective components, such as TVS diodes and ESD protection devices, effectively guard against sudden voltage spikes, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and other abnormal conditions. Common specifications for TVS diodes include a breakdown voltage range from 12V to 200V, providing the necessary transient voltage protection for automotive electronic circuits.
On the other hand, power components are designed with high voltage tolerance and low on-resistance (RDS(on)) to ensure high efficiency and low heat generation during DCU power conversion.
